Closure of the Developing Digital Leadership Skills In Construction Programme

As from 30 April, the CITB removed the funding for all six of the digital leadership programmes until sometime in 2021. This includes the GCTG Developing Digital Leadership Skills in Construction SMEs programme. In an exchange of emails with the CITB they recognise that Digital Leadership is a critically important activity but not one they can fund at this time.

We are sorry that we are no longer able to support construction SMEs in the use of digital solutions at a time when the interest and need has never been greater. Although in March the CITB approved the delivery of the workshops online, now that funding has been removed we have reluctantly cancelled all future events, the curation of resources and the creation of vlogs etc

The need for digital adoption in construction is not going to go away so we will explore how elements of this project can be delivered using a commercial model, most likely outside GCTG. Please get in touch if you have any suggestions.
